You may have seen my recent social media posts about the latest #WhyKnowLedgeMatters Podcast episode, and it’s a particularly special one for me! In this installment, I had the pleasure of discussing the very concepts from Dr. Belinda Karge and my book, “Co-Teaching Evolved,” diving deep into co-teaching partnerships, innovative co-teaching strategies, EdTech integrations, and the burgeoning role of AI in education.
The conversation on the #WhyKnowLedgeMatters Podcast allowed me to expand on the core principles I explore in “Co-Teaching Evolved.” We discussed how dynamic co-teaching partnerships are more crucial than ever in today’s classrooms. My book offers a framework for building these synergistic relationships, and the podcast episode brings some of these practical strategies to life through our discussion.
But the evolution doesn’t stop at interpersonal dynamics of co-teaching partnerships and strategies. A significant focus, both in “Co-Teaching Evolved” and on the podcast, is the seamless integration of EdTech and AI into co-teaching practices. How can technology truly enhance collaborative lesson planning? In what ways can AI become a supportive partner for differentiating instruction in a co-taught classroom? We tackled these questions, offering a glimpse into how these tools can revolutionize the co-teaching experience, making it more efficient, engaging, and ultimately, more impactful for every student.
Listeners will gain valuable insights into:
- Building and Nurturing Strong Co-Teaching Relationships: Drawing from the foundational elements I outline in “Co-Teaching Evolved.”
- Innovative Co-Teaching Strategies: Exploring fresh approaches to planning, instruction, and assessment that I champion.
- Leveraging EdTech Effectively: Discussing practical ways to integrate technology to support the co-teaching models presented in the book.
- The Role of AI in the Evolving Classroom: Understanding how artificial intelligence can assist co-teachers and personalize learning, a key theme in the forward-looking sections of “Co-Teaching Evolved.”
- And much more!
Thank you to the host, Yanik Muller, and the WhyKnowLedgeMatters Podcast for having me on!
