This past week, my co-author Dr. Karge and I had the opportunity to share ideas from our book Co-Teaching Evolved in an edWebinar with educators from around the world. It was exciting to dive into the 11 research-backed co-teaching strategies, from One Teach, One Support to Team Teaching, and show how they can flex across grade levels and content areas.
We demonstrated how teachers can implement these strategies right away with nothing more than chart paper and markers. At the same time, we explored how edtech and AI tools can be utilized for co-teaching lesson planning, formative assessment through the Graze and Tag co-teaching strategy using interactive whiteboards (like Curipod and Snorkle), and adaptive practice tools like iReady during station co-teaching can bring these co-teaching strategies to the next level by boosting student engagement and achievement.
Weβre so grateful to everyone who joined us and engaged in this conversation. Thank you the over 600 teachers and school leaders who attend, and to edWeb, and Solution Tree for organizing and hosting the event. Every time we share co-teaching strategies to teachers from around the world, weβre reminded of the power of co-teaching to create meaningful learning experiences for all students.
